I wouldn't go through the hassle to call SGP and be the middleman between SGP and the guy, and when he hangs up on me, I'd just be glad I don't have to deal with him anymore. Seriously, he knew he messed it up himself and it's not your responsibility. I think he's just desparately trying to find someone to share his misfortune, and to minimize his lost.
